The Gold line consists of various typical olive sorts from Istria. The Slovnian Istria grows native species such as buga, črnica, istrian white and štorta. Traditionally, the olives are gathered manually and then immediately pressed in the oil mill. It is these old trees that give the best-quality oils.
The oil is fruity-green with a scent of grass and a distinctive taste of green almonds as well as a fragrance of artichokes. It starts with a pleasant harmonious taste, which then turns to an equilibrium of bitterness and piquancy. The green turns to gold.
